Cookie Walk
The North Smithfield Athletic Association will hold a cookie walk at North Smithfield High School on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Cookies will cost $10 per container, with thousands of varieties to choose from.

Holiday crafts
North Smithfield Public Library will host several holiday craft-making events for children this week and guests must sign up at the library to participate.
On Tuesday, Dec. 10 starting at 4:30 p.m., kids ages 7 to 12 are invited to learn how to turn an easy to make origami flower into a sparkling poinsettia ornament.
Kids and teens ages 10-17 are invited to visit the library on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to create woodland ornaments starting at 6 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, Dec. 11, children ages 5-9 can make cork reindeer at the library starting at 4 p.m.
Meditation
The North Smithfield Public Library offers monthly programs in two different styles of meditation. The next workshops will be held on Dec. 16 and Dec.19 and begin at 6:30 p.m.

North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Board of Directors will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. at 1470 Providence Pike for an agenda that can be found here.
