BURRILLVILLE – This is a busy week for classic car shows and cruise nights across the state of Rhode Island and the region.

The Buckleupallofus Cruisin’ Safety Season is unofficially underway, reminding kids and families about the importance of wearing seatbelts in vehicles starting Saturday, May, 3, and ending on Halloween night. The official start date is Memorial Day weekend. The car show season comes to an end on November, 1 here in New England. A year ending final car show takes place on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Buckleupallofus giant balloon attraction showcases at nearly 100 car shows, cruise nights, race tracks, dragways, community events and kids and family venues up until November, 1. Thousands of Buckleupallofus child passenger safety coloring posters, 4-page coloring books and fridge magnets are passed out to children to bring home reminding them to “Boost Up! and Buckle Up!” The safety messages also include a slogan; “Cross Your Heart With Your Seatbelt…Somebody Loves You!” All of these items are passed out to kids and families for free thanks to caring community businesses that support the popular Buckleupallofus CPS Campaign each year.

Take a kid to a car show this cruisin’ season and do so safely. Remember; backseats are for kids.
