Unified Alumni game
North Smithfield High School will host its first alumni Unified basketball game on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of the school at 412 Greenville Road. Current and former unified athletes will compete together an the game, which the school hopes to host annually.

Sephora at Kohl’s
A popular cosmetics retailer has plans to open satellite shops inside several Kohl’s stores, including the local one at Dowling Village. Sephora at Kohl’s is set to open this month, according to a release this week from the department store chain.
The store is among more than 100 nationally set to add Sephora products to the line up, joining 1,000 others that already feature the beauty line. The location at 39 Dowling Village is the only new addition in Rhode Island. The Sephora at Kohl’s shops are small-format with products displayed by category for easy navigation including brands such as Fenty Hair, Jo Malone and London Fragrance.
The chain noted that Store locations and timing are subject to change.
Goods collection
Troop 1139 Slatersville is doing a FUNDrive with Savers to support a trip to Gettysburg National Military Park. The Scouts are collecting soft goods and books including men’s, women’s, & children’s clothes, coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, belts and backpacks; household textiles such as bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains and pillows; books and media such as CDs and DVDs. No encyclopedias or text books will be accepted.
Clothes and textiles should be bagged, and books and media should be separated and delivered in tightly pack boxes. All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
Items will be accepted at Scouter’s Hall at 13 Main St. on Friday, March 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 29 from 9 to 10 a.m.
Breathwork Journey
Good working at 585 Smithfield Road will host a New Moon Breathwork Journey on Saturday, March 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. an event by Haven & Harmony that aims to release money blocks and cultivate financial abundance with 9D Breathwork. A Dress to Remember
A prom dress event featuring free gently used dresses, shoes and accessories will be held on Saturday, March 29 from noon to 5 p.m. at Mount St. Charles Academy at 800 Logee St. in Woonsocket. All are welcome to A Dress to Remember, an event organized as part of North Smithfield High School student Teagan McMahon’s senior project.
