Editor’s note: The family is reporting that the teen is now home.
GLOCESTER – The family of a boy last seen in Chepachet on Friday, Feb. 21 is asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Ethan Jorgensen, 14, has been missing since he was seen in the village on Friday night around 8:15 p.m.

According to his mother Dana Holmes, Jorgensen is about 5’7″ and was wearing grey sweatpants, a black sweatshirt with a hood, white Jordan sneakers and a dark blue backpack. He has brown eyes and short brown hair and was also wearing a longer silver cross necklace.
“We have reason to believe he may be in the Providence or Pawtucket area but no proof and he could be anywhere,” noted Holmes in a post on social media.
Anyone who knows Jorgensen’s whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department, and can remain anonymous. Those helping to help find the teen have been sharing posts with the hashtag #FindEthanJorgensen.
“If you speak with him please tell him how much we love him and want him to come home,” noted Holmes. “Needless to say, we are very worried and hope he will return on his own.”
