BURRILLVILLE – School vacation week is over and kids are returning back to school this week. The Bus Stop Kids want to remind children that it is very important that they always wait for their school bus to come to a complete stop before crossing streets.

The seasons are changing and kids can become a little more rambunctious when temperatures warm up, especially after having an entire week off from school. It’s easy to forget school bus safety rules if there is a weeklong gap and kids aren’t actively heading out to bus stops every day. The Seasons Of Safety Coloring Campaign was created for this reason. With every season comes a variety of seasonal safety hazards related to children’s activities in their daily lives.

Spring is around the corner and over the coming weeks you will find seasonal kids safety coloring cartoons and articles related to the nicer weather and the hazards little kids may face right here in Sunday features. Please remind your kids about the importance of school bus and bus stop safety so they can return to school this week safer and more aware of their surroundings.

Welcome back to school kids!
