Breakfast
Laurel Grange #40 at 347 Snake Hill Road is hosting a breakfast with Spiderman and Anna from Frozen on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon, with photos, songs, activities and glitter tattoos. Children’s admission for the breakfast buffet is $30, and $10 for adults.

Free class
Space is limited in a free class announced this week at Listen to Your Art to be held on Saturday, April 5. The business is partnering with Glocester Land Trust to create a new scavenger hunt at the Steere Hill walking trail featuring frogs made by participants, with the artists to also take a second frog home.

Spring Rec
Registration is now open for the Burrillville Glocester Youth Soccer Association’s Spring Rec program. Games and practices will be held together on Wednesdays at rotating times between 5-7:30 for UG to U12 from April 30 to June 18.

Free seeds
Glocester Manton Library at 1137 Putnam Pike now has free seeds available for your spring garden through a program with Ocean State Job Lot and URI Master Gardeners.
Seeds can be picked up at the library while supplies last.
Town meetings
The Glocester Planning Board workshop originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 has been cancelled.
The Glocester Budget Board will hold a meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 19 starting at 7 p.m. at Town Hall at 1145 Putnam Pike. The agenda is here.
