Classes will continue every other Wednesday, with new dances introduced each week. For more information contact instructor Melissa Caldarone at [email protected].

Address markers

The Pascoag Fire Department is reminding residents that seconds count in a medical emergency, and first responders will arrive more quickly when they can find your home.

East Burrillville Fire District’s Oakland Mapleville Fire Department has a program selling reflective address markers. To learn more or get yours contact the department at (401) 568-5720.

Banners for Veterans

Berard Desjarlais Post 88 American Legion is now putting up banners honoring living veterans who participated in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War up to 1967, as well as all recipients of the Purple Heart in any conflict. Banners honoring those who lived in Burrillville during their time in service or who live in Burrillville now will be displayed throughout town.

Love stories

Did you and your sweetheart meet while attending Burrillville schools? Or did your romance begin long after graduation?

Burrillville Public Schools is inviting former Broncos to share their love story and a photo on a special post on their Facebook page this week recognizing Valentine’s Day. Watch for it on Friday, Feb. 14 to share your story.

And while we’re celebrating local love, head to Pascoag for a picture with your sweetheart in the lighted gift box on Pascoag Main Street – which has been decorated for the occasion.

Bingo night

The Downtown Pascoag & Neighborhood Association will host a quarter auction and bingo night on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Beckwith Bruckshaw at 50 Lodge Road in Pascoag.
