Santa at Stillwater

The Burrillville Parks & Recreation Department will hold the annual Santa at Stillwater event on Saturday, Dec. 7, with Santa to arrive by Harrisville Fire Truck at 1 p.m. The event will feature raffles, hot cocoa, candy canes and donuts, and each child on the good list will receive a small gift from Santa. Jesse Smith Memorial Library will offer cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus and those who donate an item for the Burrillville Animal Shelter will receive a free raffle ticket.

The snow date for the event is Saturday, Dec. 14

Bazaar & Antique sale

First Universalist Church at 134 Harrisville Main St. will hold its annual Christmas bazaar and antique sale on Saturdays Dec. 7 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The events will feature Christmas décor, antiques and collectibles, elegant glassware, a penny social, yard sale items and baked goods.

Jingle Mingle

The Burrillville High School Music Boosters will hold their annual Jingle Mingle Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the cafeteria of the high school at 425 East Ave. Admission is free to the event, which will feature local vendors and crafters, raffles, food and baked goods. Bring a canned good to receive a free raffle ticket.

All proceeds will benefit the BHS Music Department.

Holiday Bazaar

Visit Broncos Crossing Plaza at 1452 Broncos Highway on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a Holiday Bazaar featuring free pictures with Santa and the Grinch, baked goods, food trucks, horse-driven carriage rides, local vendors, visits with the Burrillville Police Department’s K-9 and more. The free event will also feature Sandtastic Art for the kids, and shakes and teas from New Rhode Nutrition.

Holiday Market

Mapleville Farm at 544 Victory Highway will host a Holiday Market & Open House on Saturdays, Dec. 7 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. Enjoy food and holiday cheer while you shop in the farm’s greenhouse.

SOS Big Band

The Assembly Theatre at 26 East Ave. will host the SOS Big Band of RI on Sunday, Dec. 8 starting at 3 p.m. The band consists of the typical 5, 4, 4 set up with a full rhythm section and performs music from the 30s and 40s through modern day. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased here.

Town meetings

The Pascoag Utility District Board of Utility Commissioners will hold their annual meeting on Monday, Dec. 2 starting at 6 p.m. at their business office at 253 Pascoag Main St. The agenda is here.

The Burrillville Redevelopment Agency will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3 starting at 7 p.m. in the community room of Jesse Smith Memorial Library at 100 Tinkham Lane. The agenda is here.
