Paving
Starting Monday Oct. 28, T. Miozzi Paving will begin milling Tifft Road, Laurel Lane, Grange Road and Rocky Hill Road. The work will be done between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
To help expedite the work, the town is asking residents to move all vehicles off these roads. There will be limited access to the area for the entire time Miozzi is working on these roadways, and the only traffic will be for emergencies.

“We apologize for any inconvenience that this may create, but with your patience and cooperation we can get this work completed as quickly as possible,” the town noted in a release. “There will be flaggers assigned to this project.”
The release noted that the work could be cancelled without notice due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Questions can be directed to contact the North Smithfield Highway Division at (401) 767-2200 Extension 348.
