NORTH SMITHFIELD – A manufacturer on Providence Pike has been named as one of Rhode Island’s Best Places to Work by Providence Business News for the fourth time.

National Marker Company, a producer of safety products including signs, tags, machine and hazmat labels, utility tapes and more joins Banneker Industries in making the annual list.

Owned by Michael Black, NMC has been named every year since 2017, and is among 65 Rhode Island employers listed in 2020.

The rankings for each honoree will be kept confidential with full results to be revealed at a Sept. 30 virtual event scheduled and published in the publication’s Oct. 2 issue.
