North Smithfield man arrested for domestic electronic tracking

NORTH SMITHFIELD – A North Smithfield man released and ordered not to contact the victim after his arrest last week by state police for domestic electronic tracking.

Jeremy Cote, 48, of 108 Mattity Road was taken in by troopers at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 28 following an investigation by members of the Scituate Barracks, according to a release.

Cote was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, and later transported to Third Division District Court to be arraigned. His bond was set at $1,000 personal recognizance and Cote is due back in court for a pre-trial conference on Friday, April 11.
