Snow + holiday
With our first major winter storm of the season dropping more than five inches of snow across northern Rhode Island, locals are advised to stay in if they can this morning and at least one event – a cleanup of Mammoth Mill Park in honor of Martin Luther King Day – has been cancelled. Monday is also a trash holiday and pickup will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
A parking ban in town remains in effect until further notice.
