NORTH SMITHFIELD – Following the enthusiasm he witnessed from the community this past Saturday over the grand opening of Revive Coffee Company, David Punchak is pledging to hold a monthly coffee hour at a local business when elected to the Town Council.

“This will be a fantastic opportunity for residents to have direct access to me.” Punchak said. “Many people are hesitant to speak in public, or their schedules may not allow them to attend council meetings. This will provide a relaxed environment for residents to connect with a councilor.”

Punchak believes these monthly coffee hours will not only facilitate important discussions and provide a voice for residents, but they will also foster relationships in the town that may not otherwise develop. He plans to cover the costs stating, “What’s better than investing in an opportunity to engage with residents and give back to the community?”

He respectfully asks for your vote on or before November 5.

  1. Punchak disrupting a local business on their opening day was just a way to try and buy votes from town residents. Coffee hours, usually monthly, with political officials throughout NS and the surrounding area have been going on for a long time. Sorry, Punchak but, you are not creating anything new, it’s been going on for years and years.
