Northern, RI – Who says nothing happens in northern Rhode Island?

It’s another busy weekend in our three small towns with special events for children and adults that include festivals and fairs, live entertainment, crafting classes, a road race, an adult prom and much more.

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management has also scheduled free freshwater fishing weekend for May 4 and 5 – where no fishing license is required. There are plenty of great spots to put in a pole – and Glocester Manton Library has four available for borrowing.

So what are you waiting for? Get out and enjoy your community at these great local events and venues.
