Clean & Green t-shirt deadline
Sign-ups are now open for North Smithfield’s annual Clean & Green Day, to be held on Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to noon, with registration starting at 8 a.m. at Town Hall. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Rhode Island will also be taking part this year, collecting donations of clothes, linens, books and housewares at at 83 Greene St. Those who register by Tuesday, April 4 will be guaranteed an event t-shirt. NSHS survey
Families with students attending North Smithfield High School have been asked to take part in a short, ten-minute survey regarding perceptions of the school. The Family Surveyworks form can be found here and the deadline has been extended to Friday, April 7.
Scholarship
The Frehill Council #5702 Knights of Columbus has announced that applications are available for its 2023 scholarship. The scholarship is made possible by the council’s annual car show to be held this year on Sunday, July 23, at the middle school complex.
The scholarship is offered to a 2023 North Smithfield High School graduating senior who anticipates entering an accredited college, university or technical program. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of need and community/school involvement.

Heritage walk
