Don’t put away those shovels yet!
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for areas including northern Rhode Island from 8 p.m. on Monday, March 13 through 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. Heavy snow is expected with accumulation from 6 to 12 inches.
Retro game night
Bravo Brewing Company in Pascoag will host a Retro Game Night on Monday, March 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. Visit the brewery at 75 Pascoag Main St. to enjoy craft beer and play on consoles from the 1980s and 1990s.
Skate night
The Burrillville Junior Hockey League has announced a St. Patrick’s Day open skate night at Levy Rink on Friday, March 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. Skating costs $5 at the door and free skate rentals will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Luck of the Irish
Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, if you’d like to get out and celebrate, there’s plenty happening right here in town. Toti’s Tavern will host a party with music by Interstate Rhythm, and Spritzer’s Bar will serve corned beef & cabbage with entertainment by Jack Babineau from 8 to 11 p.m. Bravo Brewing will host a beer release party with music by The Avaitors from 6 to 9 p.m.and Jailbreak Band will be at Pascoag Cafe from 8 p.m. to midnight. Guitar Dave will play at Dev’s Cafe from 2-6 p.m., followed by DJ Wisevlad from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m..
In addition to the open skate, kids in grades 6 through 12 can have their own fun with a visit to Jesse Smith Library for Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition’s open game night.

The Assembly Theatre has announced that performances of Oedipus Rex/Oedipus Tex originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 18 and 19, have been postponed. Future dates will be announced for the show, which will be directed by Monica Blanchette and Mike Konnerth.
