N.S. Land Trust to host chowder supper, tour of Booth Pond


    The North Smithfield Land Trust invites the public to two events coming up in fall.

    On Saturday, Sept. 24, the group will host a guided walk of the Booth Pond conservation area trail as part of RI Land Trust Days. The walk of the trail behind The Club at Dowling Village will begin at 1 p.m.

    On Saturday, Oct. 1, the land trust will hold a chowder supper at Scouter’s Hall from 5-7 p.m. Mickey G’s ClamShack will be serving red and white clam chowder and clam cakes with all money raised to support the Land Trust’s continued conservation work. The charge is $15 per serving and kids 6 and under eat free.
