Sunday cartoon: The Bucky Club Sandwich

BURRILLVILLE – The Bucky Club Sandwich and Bucky Wrap are brand new menu items at Sandwich Works located at 827 Beacon St., Newton Centre in the Boston area.

Sandwich Works is a family owned sandwich shop established in 1991. This very popular cafe offers an extensive menu of delicious sandwiches and wraps along with coffee and an all-day breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sandwich Works offers their menu items as dine-in, take-out and delivery in their vicinity including the city of Boston. Delivery options are available via DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub. They also offer catering services for larger groups and gatherings.

This Sunday Cartoon is actually the Sandwich Works Bucky and Safety Friends kids safety coloring placemats, take home and delivery coloring posters. Whenever someone orders the new Bucky Sandwich or Bucky Wrap, Sandwich Works is donating a dollar to support the Bucky/Children Across America popular Buckleupallofus Child Passenger Safety campaign events and take home products with educational and awareness materials along with coloring formats reaching kids across the region.

Thousands of kids and their parents in the Boston area that might not be familiar with Buckleupallofus and his safety friends will be reminded about their safety every single day now while enjoying delicious Bucky Sandwiches or Bucky Wraps at Sandwich Works as they provide everyone with coloring placemats and posters along with other products created to help keep kids safer in their daily lives.

Watch for a growing number of New England restaurants, pizza parlors, diners, auto dealerships, car washes, auto parts stores, automotive shops, car shows, racing events and media groups partnering with Buckleupallofus and safety friends doing the same thing as Sandwich Works to help support child safety efforts throughout the year and years to come, here and across America, creatively reminding kids and families to be safer.

Weicherding contributes kids’ coloring cartoons, which can be printed and used to help parents discuss safety issues with their children. He has a long list of police officers and firefighters in his family and has worked with law enforcement and firefighters in a creative public safety capacity for more than two decades. Jim was also appointed to Children Across America as their events and creative director for their child safety programs initiatives and outreach kids safety campaigns nationwide.
