The North Smithfield Food Pantry is in need of peanut butter and snacks such as pudding, jello and cookies for the month of August. Pickup dates for North Smithfield residents in need of food are Tuesdays, Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Aug. 21 and 28 at 10 a.m.
The pantry is located at Slatersville Congregational Church and open to North Smithfield residents. Proof of address is required. Visitors are asked to stay in their vehicles and wear masks, and food will be distributed through a drive-through system.
