Poetry winners
Congratulations to North Smithfield Middle School’s “100th Day of School” poetry winners: Grade 5, Emma Dodd; Grade 6, Anna Aleksiewicz; Grade 7, Alexis Corriveau and Grade 8, Hunter Kennell.
Kennell’s winning poem can be read below.
The 100th day of school
It sounds funny but it sounds so cool
We’re going to have a lot of fun.
Whether inside the building or out in the sun.
Covid has interrupted this year.
But we don’t mind.
We approach it with cheer.
The 100th day of school
We just keep up the good work and follow the rules!
