Mapleville resident Ben St. Pierre will hold his 11th annual lemonade stand on Saturday, Aug. 22, an event to benefit the Burrillville Animal Shelter. The fundraiser will be held at 90 Maureen Circle from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with 100 percent of proceeds donated to the shelter. Guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing will be observed, and guests are asked not to linger as to limit the gathering of crowds.
The event has raised more than $9,000 for the facility over the past decade.
