Cover band Ketura’s Dream will play at Uncle Ronnie’s Tavern on Friday, Dec. 27 with a set starting at 9 p.m.

Return to Uncle Ronnies on Saturday for Dave and the Angells playing your favorite rock, pop, dance and country tunes with a show starting at 9 p.m.

Winter Classic

The Burrillville Winter Classic Hockey Tournament will be held this weekend at Levy Ice Rink with a game on Friday, Dec. 27 at 5 p.m. against Moses Brown. The team will take on Coventry High School starting at 7 p.m.

The tournament, which began on Thursday, will continue throughout the weekend starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday with a match against Cumberland High School. Sunday, the Winter Classic begins at 3 p.m. with the opponent to be determined.

Waffle time

Visit Bravo Brewing Company in Pascoag on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. to catch The Burgundian: Coffee and Waffles. Sweet and savory Liege-style Belgian waffles will be sold with toppings including cinnamon and sugar, nutella and cookie butter, as well as specialty waffles such as the Banana Churro Supreme.

Christmas caroling

St. Theresa’s Shrine of the Little Flower at 35 Dion Drive invites residents to bring kids, friends and family and for the singing of Christmas carols around a piano in the church hall on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. Hot chocolate and coffee will be available and the Shrine’s Christmas light show will be lit.

Tree eaters

If you are looking to dispose of your live Christmas tree, the goats at Stonehenge Farm would like to help you. Bring the tree, minus decorations to  63 Moroney Road in Pascoag. The farm may be also able to pick up your tree. To learn more call (401) 568-3191.
