Three arrested following break-in at Burrillville liquor store

BURRILLVILLE – Three men were arrested following a chase down Route 44 in the early morning hours of Thursday, Feb. 14 in connection with a break-in at Chums Spirits.

The incident began around 2 a.m. when an officer spotted a vehicle traveling with its high beams on Pascoag Main Street. Police ran the license plates and discovered they were not registered to the vehicle.

The patrolman reportedly pulled into the Chapel Street liquor store to turn around, and noticed that the business’s front windows were shattered.

The car was later noticed by Glocester Police, and a chase ensued along Route 44 ending in Smithfield, according to reports.

The vehicle had been previously reported stolen by Providence Police.

Two men from Providence – Nichole M. McLaughlin, 31, and Bryan R. Wieczorek, 42 and one man from Pawtucket – Alan Corey, 47, were arrested. All three were charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and conspiracy

McLaughlin was also charged with driving on a suspended license, 4th offense.
