This week’s town meetings

The Planning Board will hod their regular meeting tonight, Monday, Feb. 4 in the Jesse Smith Library Community Room, starting at 7 p.m. The agenda, can be found here.

The Ordinance Subcommittee will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 5 starting at 2 p.m. at the town building.

The Budget Board will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, Feb. 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the town building.

Help the rock painters

Burrillville Rocks is seeking volunteers who can help out with a rock painting event to be held Saturday, Feb. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pascoag Public Library. To help out, contact the group via their Facebook page here.

EFSB hearings

The final scheduled hearings before the Energy Facility Siting Board regarding Invenergy’s plan to build a power plant in Burrillville are schedule for Feb. 5, 6 and 7 at  89 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Topics this week include traffic, wastewater treatment and project details. The meetings are streamed live here.
