BURRILLVILLE – A Glocester man was arrested this week after allegedly breaking into his ex girlfriend’s house, and then flattening the tire on her car when he was asked to leave.

Michael Prata, 42, of Glocester was arrested by Burrillville police on Tuesday, Dec. 18, and charged with breaking and entering and injuring or tampering with a vehicle for a crime dating back to October.

The victim was a 42-year old Pascoag woman, who told police Prata, her ex boyfriend, had gained access to her apartment by climbing through a window, and that she woke up to find him standing in her room.

The woman told officers that she asked Prata to leave, but then watched as he went into her driveway and let the air out of one of the tires on her car. She said she took video of the incident, and then called AAA.

Prata was picked up at his home with help from Glocester police and will be issued a summons to appear in 6th District Court at a later date.
