6th Annual Fall Festival at Mapleville Farm

The 6th Annual Fall Festival was held on September 30 this year at Mapleville Farm. I took my kids there with $20 in my pocket. I found that this was plenty for this very cute, festive event. We started off the afternoon with a pony ride. The rides are $5 per ride. Then, we headed into the greenhouse. This was definitely the best part of the festival! Inside their greenhouse, the owners have huge coy fish that actually let you pet them and even “kiss” your hand! My son Dylan said it kind feels like a suction cup and tickles.

After the fun greenhouse, we headed over to the games area. Games were $1 each and you could win prizes such as a whoopy cushion, yo-yo’s, hacky sacs, etc. Chase liked the bean bag pumpkin toss while Dylan preferred the pick a duck game. There were other great activities in which we did not partake in such as “paint a rock,” pumpkin painting, face painting, and more!

Before we left, we went inside the barn and bought some delicious, huge, home-made brownies. They had a variety of sweets and even some hot sandwiches that could be purchased.

If you are looking for a fun, family festival next year, check out this event! It was worth the trip!
