N.S. police seek public’s help in IDing suspect in assault of fast food worker

NORTH SMITHFIELD – Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of assaulting a drive-through worker at the McDonald’s on Eddie Dowling Highway.

According to reports, a woman with long hair, who appears to be wearing a short-sleeved white shirt in shots from surveillance footage, visited the restaurant around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29.

The suspect reportedly got into a verbal argument with the McDonald’s employee before assaulting her.

She then drove off in a dark-colored sedan, according to police.

The woman was described by officers as short with a small build and medium complexion.
