Holiday Cards

Cards depicting “A Winter Scene in Burrillville,” created from the artwork of Austin T. Levy students, are now on sales for $4 per pack.

Pick up your holiday cards at Town Hall, the Burrillville Parks & Recreation office or Li’l General.  All proceeds will benefit local families during the holiday season.

Earth Day ideas

The Earth Day Committee is currently planning the town’s celebration of the event’s 50th anniversary and is seeking the public’s feedback. In additional to the town’s annual cleanup, the committee is looking for ways to make the upcoming Earth Day one to remember.

Ideas and suggestions can be directed to Dana Gould of the Burrillville Lions Club at (401) 338-6334 or bigdoger1@aol.com; or Andrea Hall at (401) 568-9470 or ahall@burrillville.org.

Santa calling

Burrillville residents: Santa wants to call your child.

Burrillville kids in grades 2 and under can get a chance to talk with Santa on the phone and tell him their wishes. To register, call the Burrillville Holiday Hotline at (401) 568-9470.

The deadline to register for a call is Wednesday, Nov. 27.
