Some enterprising young vegetables handed out discount coupons for the Farmer's Market at the Burrillville Arts & Crafts Festival last weekend.

Skate night

The Burrillville High School Lacrosse team will sponsor skate night at the Levy Rink on Friday, Sept. 20 from 9-11 p.m. The $5 admission will help to support the team.

Book and bake sale

Pascoag Public Library will host a book and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The library will be selling selling hardcover and paperbacks along with fresh baked goods and DVDs.

Market winding down

It is the second to last weekend for the 13th season of the Burrillville Farmer’s Market.

On Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Stillwater Mill Pavilion from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the market will feature fresh produce and kids activities, and Rob Greyfox will be playing music. The market also sells preserves, baked goods, popcorn, jewelry and more. Vendors accept cash, credit cards and SNAP/EBT payments.

Cabaret for a cause

The Assembly Theatre will host an Evening of Wishes, on Saturday, Sept. 21 starting at 7 p.m., a talent-filled variety show to benefit The Izzy Foundation. The organization helps families whose children have cancer or other life altering medical conditions.

Odie’s Place

Burrillville resident Rob Greyfox will host a benefit concert at The Island in North Smithfield on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. for Odie’s Place, an animal rescue facility in Dartmouth, Mass. Bands playing include Sunshine Riot, Almost Gone, The Cosmic Factory and Average Joel. There will also be vendors and food trucks. Tickets for the outdoor concert are $10.
