Survey for those 60 plus, adults with disabilities

The town of Burrillville has received grant funding and will be offering free activities to the senior population. Officials are asking residents to fill out a short survey to determine which activities are most in demand. Surveys can be found here and completed forms can be mailed or dropped off to the Parks and Recreation Office at 92 North Main St., Pascoag 02895.

Snow shoveling

Do you, or someone you know, need help shoveling your residence this winter during snowstorms? The Burrillville Police Department, along with student volunteers from Burrillville High School, are offering assistance to qualified Burrillville Residence who could use an extra helping hand with snow removal. This program is offered to members of the community who are over the age of 65, have a disability, or a serious, short-term injury preventing them from safely removing snow from their homes. Applications and more details can be found atwww.burrillville.org/police-dep…/…/elderly-shoveling-program
