BURRILLVILLE – A 19-year-old Woonsocket man is facing felony charges in three towns following the alleged theft of a car from a home in Burrillville, and the use of stolen credit cards.

Jamin Ethier, 19, of 34 8th Ave. was first questioned by Lincoln Police when he was seen in the area of a 2014 Toyota that had reportedly been stolen from the driveway of a house on Hemlock Farm Trail in Burrillville.

The suspect, whose job is listed as “unemployed,” had been left at the car, parked on Whalen Drive in Lincoln, by three of his friends, who drove off in another vehicle, according to police.

According to reports taken following his interview in Lincoln, “Ethier did admit to going through people’s cars in Burrillville, Cumberland, and Lincoln and was charged with possession of stolen goods, larceny under $1,500 and tampering with motor vehicles.”

A credit card found inside the Toyota had been used at a convenience store in Cumberland, and there, Ethier is facing additional charges of larceny under $1,500.

Ethier went in for questioning at Burrillville Police headquarters on Wednesday, Aug. 1 and was charged there with larceny over $1,500 and conspiracy in relation to the car theft.

Ethier was brought before a bail commissioner for all of the charges, and was later released with a later court date in 6th District Court.
